PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSIGNMENT AT WORK

PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSIGNMENT AT WORK

Employees are the most valuable assets for the company since the overall performance of the company will depend on the decisions taken by the human resources of the company. If there is no human resources company will not be able to manage its business though they have high technological involvement in the business process.  Decision-making is the most important thing for a company, and this will perform by the employees S., & Schroeder, R. G. (2003). Hence it is very important to understand the importance of human resources and to add value for them to retain in the company. Human resources management is really challenging and complex. Not like other assets human beings are more sensitive to environmental actors and this is very important to implement best HR practices in the company to provide good employees we begin in the company. As a company, they should be able to understand the issues related to the employees.

Grievance handling is very important for the company to manage satisfied employees in the company. If a company is facing any issue related to HR management, there will be a root cause of employee grievances. As an example, if there is high absenteeism in the company there will be a personal matter associated with the absenteeism. Hence HR department should be able to identify those issues and help them to resolve personal issues to get the maximum output from the
employee.

I was assigned a critical assignment at office to conduct a grievance handling session for the   new interns in the office in the last week of October. I was able to recognize that many of the interns were undergoing exam stress as most of them had to do their CA exams and CIMA and other examinations while they are within the officer environment. I found a one girl she was crying alone in her lunch hour at the    washroom during the grievance handling and mentoring workshop. I personally reached to her and asked her problem. She said that here mother was having a   cancer and she badly needed to take a one week leave to do her chemotherapy sessions.

But the first 21 days of the internship was held compulsory Armstrong, M. (2006). However, I was able to recognize her situation using empathetically attention and grieve resolution abilities and approached to the HR manager to grant her a leave. Also, I told the other steps in resolving conflicts and grievances through self-mentoring.

Through this experience and also through my other learnings in the curriculum I was able to realize that if a company will be able to manage psychological assignments at the workplace this will really help to reduce the issues related to the employee in the company. Managers should have a proper understanding of the personal life of the employees L., & Prennushi, G. (1995). This will help employees to manage their personal lives while performing the job and there will not be stressful situations through personal issues. Listening to employees is also important for managers. When there is sympathetic hearing for the employees, they will reduce their stress levels while sharing the issues with managers of the company. Once get awareness regarding personal issues managers will be able to help those after discussing them with the management.  The company should be able to identify the required psychological assignment for the employees considering the existing facilities of the company.

Meeting each other needs is very important to motivate employees in the company S., & MacMillan, I. C. (1984). If their needs do not meet by the company, they will leave the company in long run. Two-way dialogue between supervisors and employees is very important to get an understanding of each other and this will reduce the conflict between managers and employees. Feedback from the two-way dialogue will be enabling managers to get the decision to reduce existing issues in the company. Coaching also adds value to the company. If employees get proper coaching their performance level will increase, and this will provide advantages to the company.
